Artifact OneThis is a Cornell Note I did for Chapter 2 of Brave New World by Aldous Huxley. I learned how to deeply analyze the text that we have read. This will be very helpful in the future. For example, college. I believe this experience of doing Cornell Notes will help improve my notes, neat and organized. The way I grasp the context should be in some way easier. |
Artifact TwoDuring Exhibition preparation, I was apart of Documentary.
One of the things I worked on was taking pictures and I edited a slideshow. To the right of this caption is a slideshow, that showed some of the plans that some students on our team planned out for Exhibition. During all of the hard work we did, all the students at High Tech High North County were allowed to participate in Spirit week. I think that's just a fun touch to show that we don't always look professional, but still having some strict restrictions. I learned that, although we are working hard, we can still show a bit of spirit. So we don't always have to look professional, but we still understand that working hard and acting professional when communicating with possible sponsors, the guests at our exhibition, and for the program we hope to have here. The program being our Study Abroad. |

Artifact ThreeAn assignment we had was to find an image that shows Imperialism and use the APPARTS Strategy to figure out if this could be a primary source. Although my group and I used this image to the left for our assignment, you can see that someone made this photo because it is based off of something in Disney.
Link to assignment: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1gEL8hVpTVogFjhSs7N2EhISP5ETm9pye_YuVOiY5bcU/edit APPARTS Strategy was a concept that I learned this semester that I believe helped me grow as a student. I learned that the APPARTS Strategy helps you get into depth on information based off of something such as a primary source.
